Hello from the UK
« on: June 12, 2018, 01:50:03 AM »
Hi I have just purchased a 1973 CB500 K2 as a new project. This has been imported into the UK from the USA. Not my first restoration, have done a Suzuki GT 380 and have just about finished a Kawasaki KH250, so this is my first 4 stroke. Always wanted one of these and quite pleased with what I have ended up with. Will post some pictures later. Sure that I will be asking for help and advice in the future.

Regards

Clive.

As promised here are a few pictures of the 500 I have purchased and hope to return to running order. I have already removed the handlebars, and I am looking for some OEM ones to replace them with :D

Welcome from Texas.   The CB500 is a good bike, I have one that is in line for restoration.

Post up some pics of your smokers, we like those too!   [I have a few of those as well]

Lastly, start a thread in Project Shop of your CB, that will get more views over there and we will be happy to help with any questions.

Good Luck Mate!
