Topic: SORT THIS OUT FOR ME PLEASE....

I have a friend who has a frankenbike of sorts......its a K2 1972 CB750, but has sandcast gauges, top [unicorn] crown and vented [sandcast] sidecovers....
I am making it whole for him by supplying sidecovers painted to match his [non wrinkle] tank and correct gauges........
so my question is what is the correct setup for the gauges? I know the 72 had a light bar, but I have assumed that the gauges were held on with 2 x 10mm bolts onto a flat black steel bar and did not utilise the unicorn mount.
Better still can someone send me photos of the front and back of the 72 gauges and mount setup please?

Unicorn triple still used in k2. Only idiot lights moved from gauges to separate bar which clamps handlebars. That bar has shape exact like later ones but different markings under neutral lights (NEUT). I didn't have time to go to my storage for that k2 speedo you are looking for. Will try tomorrow.

I have seen 2 early K2's that had both gauges with idiot lights and the idiot light handle bar clamp

Thanks all, Ive got it sorted now.......
Danyo, dont worry about looking for a speedo thanks, the local wrecker got in a new shipment of CB parts and there were four speedoes, two tachos and a couple of correct lightbars in the pile so I bought them all........
Im going back today to look at a low numbered '71 he acquired also.
