Classic Ride January 14th 2007 Down Under
« on: January 13, 2007, 09:32:08 PM »
After only minimal advertising and word of mouth ten or so riders managed to get together.

The run was for pre 1976 Japanese Classics. We had Kawasaki triples turn up, a nice CB500
and a Suzuki RE5 Rotary. A pretty rough CB450 made a showing.

Best of all a U.K. specification Candy Blue Green 1970 CB750 K0 turned up. This was the bikes
first time out on the road after being sitting for 6 years. Fresh gas and off it went. It gets
better, it's for sale, price yet to be determined but I get first refusal     ;D

The route was from Christchurch city (N.Z.) to Akaroa Harbour and back, a leisurely 110 miles or so with plenty of twisties

Here are two pics but if you want to see some more go here

Sweet! That CB450 looked like a spy photo cycle. All dressed up in that black material so that you cant make out its beautiful shape. ;D
