clutch, finding neutral, drilling and filing
« on: July 04, 2018, 07:20:34 AM »
i've come across some posts where folks mentioned improving the ease of finding neutral and smoother shifting.  planning to open up my clutch cover and see what's going on, measuring plates, etc... as my bike has a hard time finding neutral and occasionally shifts hard.  i've read where some had filed parts within the clutch system as well as drilling the basket to improve oiling.  where am i looking for rough edges to file once i get this opened up?

Look in the FAQ section.  The Hondaman explanation is super detailed and works perfect!  I did drilled mine with slight channels like his pictures show and now finding neutral at a stop light is no problem at all!
