Topic: UK 750 F2 head gasket - round or oval?

hi, i've stripped my f2 750 motor and i need a full gasket set. here in the uk, the oval shaped head gasket fitted to the f2 is unobtainable. i emailed cycle-x and they tell me the round gasket is fine for the f2. any thoughts?

Are you sticking with the stock bore size? I have an OEM F2 head gasket I can sell you for a good price.

yup. i'm sticking with standard.  what do you mean by a good price and will you send it to the UK?  i'm getting so many mixed messages about which gasket i can use, but i'm thinking if Mr honda supplied the f2 with a slightly oval head gasket, thats the one i should fit.

actually, i need two f2 gaskets!  i'm working on two bikes at the same time.
