Thanks to many tips from this community my 350F project bike is now in good running order.  The Delkevic pipe screams like a banshee when revved up. Rick at OLDSKOOL carbs did a fantastic job on the carb bank.

Next season she gets new shocks and a better headlight.  Out of budget for this year.

Throw on a set of 400F bars and it would be perfect. :)  Nicely done.  Looks great..should be fun to ride.

Excellent work!

I am SO jealous....mine still looks like a dusty lump... :(
But, I do finally have enough parts to put it all back together. :)

Badger- nice job. They are fun to ride, you will get good shifting gears to keep the revs up. I put a set of progressive shocks on mine (got a good deal on them) difference is night and day. New shocks will transform the ride.

Great work.

I love mine. it's so involving to ride. You really have to work at it if you want to make rapid progress.

I painted mine a non-standard green. Rover BRG metallic.



It sounds unbelievable on 4 separate pipes too.

When I got the bike it was unloved and in metallic black (although the log book said green).



I got it up and running and presentable.



I managed to get some pattern pipes and did a full chassis/brakes/electrical recondition and painted the tank/panels/fork shrouds and headlight.

I didn't particularly like the correct Honda Custom Bacchus Olive Metallic so I used Rover British Racing Green Metallic III 1998 - 2005. Paint Code HFF.








I managed to get hold of a period correct Fox Honda carrier on eBay USA.

I'll get mine going one of these days.......carbs are coming off again, due to pizzing problems, and won't start.

Isn't BRG from the old MGB days? My college roommate had an MGB II in BRG. What a fun car that was!

BRG dates back to 1903 according to Wikipedia.

In international races each country had it's own racing colour. Green for the UK, White for Germany, Red for Italy and Blue for France.

Back then of course they were all just solid colours not metallic.

The metallic version I used on my bike was available between 1988 - 2005.
