Is this crack ok?

There is a crack inside the engine. To me it looks like a imperfection in the sand casting. Right next to the kick start gear. Is this ok?

To me, it looks like a void in the casting, cleaning it up a bit might help identify. That's the area around the kickstart/oil pump gear correct?
