not sure what's going on but i can't see the pictures.
more importantly: how do you know you can trust your uncle? you should just leave the bike with me instead, i'll take good care of it  ;D
I'll vouch for Flatlander. He's a very stand-up guy who can be trusted to only care-take, never ride unauthorized  ::) ;D ;D

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. What a great project and a beautiful bike !

Hey did you have to get (make) a longer swing arm bolt for your custom rearsets? They look great !

Cheers, dj

Hi guys. Thank you! I really spend some thoughts to get the bike to what it is now, so I'm glad that one can see these efforts.

The bike stays in Germany, but flatlander can travel over here for maintenance purposes  ;D it's Northrhine Westfalia so you have the opportunity to look out for new tracks around our area before the Netherlands are flooded due to global warming  :P

Yes, I made a new swingarm bolt from high grade tool steel. It works like a charm. I glued one locknut to the bolt with Loctite 628 so fixing it is easier.

Best
Mathias

Hey folks,

I finally managed to cut the fairing windshield into shape. That said, the bike is finished for now.
As it changed color from green to blue and literally got wings on it, I thought I'd change its nickname from "The Green Hornet" to "Blue Falcon".

A preliminary list if included changes/parts:

-Yamaha R6 RJ03 forks with cleaned braces
-Brake discs from CBR 900
-Braided brake lines
-LeMans fairing with shortened windshield and custom brackets
-90mm headlight
-Brake master cylinder GSXR 600 K6
-Clutch master cylinder ZXR 750
-LSL clip-ons
-Motobox indicators
-Oberon Mirrors
-ES Sport-Tank 24 Liters, with Aero tank flap
-Oil cooler BMW 1200 R
-Custom oil cooler adapter
-Engine combination CB 550/650 with Yoshimura cam, 11:1 compression ratio, ported head, removed starter
-Keihin CR 29 with remote idle adjuster
-Ignition coils from  CBR 600 R
-Ignitech TCIP4 CDI
-Electrosport Rectifier
-Change to push-button operated electronics
-Lithium battery
-Custom seat with integrated brake light
-License plate holder of an MV Agusta F4
-Modified absorption exhaust
-Custom made rearsets clearing the kickstarter
-Kruger&Jünginger swingarm
-Koni 7610P rear shocks

...and many many more.

As always I took some photos, so here it is in its final form:

Superb machine! Everything looks beautifully executed and designed. Are you not going to run air filters?

Absolutely beautiful. After all this work I would be shipping it to California with me.
