Topic: ET bracket and 5.60 index class race- US 19 Dragway, Albany , GA

Got the trailer all loaded. Heading down to Albany, GA for an  ET bracket and 5.60 index class race this weekend. Decided to give the SOHC a rest this time. I'll be racing it next weekend in street ET at the XDA event in Budds Creek, MA.

I get to sing the National Anthem and then Marshall at the top of the hill at our club's 36th annual 'hill-climb'. We draw a paid-crowd of more than 2000

I hope to make MIR. My goal in that series is to finish in the top 5 in top sportsman and top ten in street ET on the Honda. I'm now #11 in T/S and way down in street ET but there's a lot more racing until the end of the season to catch up. I have got to step up my race program if I intend to meet my goals.

I was #1 qualifier in the 5.60 index class this weekend but took a 1st round loss due to a breakout pass. 5.5985 on the 5.60 index. Dang it!! Went out first round in ET to a redlight start. I was the race coordinator at its event and it kept me jumping. but in the end, all went well with no incidents, on or off the track.  It was a great day for racing.
