Saw and old BMW R75 at the dealer yesterday
« on: July 15, 2018, 10:06:22 AM »
A real old one - R75/5, all stock too.  Mechanic was working on it while I was waiting for my bike to get serviced.

I can see why those bikes have such a following - sharp looking, clean, tight bike.  Engine looks like a F$#@'ing steam turbine off a boat or something, it was leaking fuel from the intakes, sounded a bit like a rattletrap but once it was off the idle I bet it would have been a blast to ride.  Of course the mechanic couldn't keep it off idle - kept stalling out on him.  I'm assuming why it was there in the first place.
