Pjlogue. Turning teflon that small on a lathe must be really tricky👍😀
PeWe. My engine is finished and is in Spain I built it here in Saudi. It's now Wiseco 836 with Mike Rieck head work and Webcam 63a. I have a set of CR29s and stainless exhaust Motogpwerks.. My forks are also there, I have done twin disc conversion. Also tarrozzi rearsets and Clip ones etc etc: The wheels are in Scotland with my wife, they are now 18" Borrani Aluminium rims from Italy (eBay)with stainless spokes on the original hubs. The frame with all ancillary bits cut off is there too, just back from powder coat shop. Also the Ace Moyce race tank and that set of carbs I rebuilt.
So there's not much more I can do out here😬 Until I finish.
Just trying to decide on which forkbrace and front fender, fairing and seat unit

Yes that exactly the fairing I am going to get. Good site😀
My problem will be trying to register a non standard classic bike in Spain. I'm told it's not easy, if at all😞

When I rebuilt my K5 carbs two years ago disassembly revealed the top seals completely deteriorated.  I found small diameter rubber grommets at my local hardware store that seem to work well.  The bottom lip fits snugly into the recess in the carb top to hold it in place.

About notice... I tested viton o-rings a size larger then before. That did not work, too tight with 4 x 2.5 mm it jumped out when moving the throttle rod
Waiting for the China grommets as plan a, plan b will be viton o-rings 4 x 2.0

Got the grommets today, 100 pcs. I'll use 4. Perfect giveaway for CB750 restorer nearby.
The earlier mentioned cable grommet is the choice! Perfect fit and look.
I guess that nobody should complain if getting this for 8-10 USD for a set of 4 in a Honda marked bag.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wearing-Resistant-4mm-Inner-Dia-Double-Side-Rubber-Grommets-100-Pcs/112020315139?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Left carb has the new grommet, right old honda. The throttle rod has tighter fit and still smooth movement in new grommet. Old one has a play and leaky. I suppose that all 4 carbs must be equal and min leak of air. No need of extra airjet :)

Did a fuel test on the grommets today.  Shell V-Power.
Drained a grommet in fuel for 20 sec, rubbed it between my fingers. It felt solid and no black coloring of fingers. All 4 carbs have a grommet seal now.

I think they will last. No problem if they need to be replaced in 5-10 years after first use.  Planned to be used from summer 2018.

Gamma,
Is that for a regular registration, or is the 'Classic Bike' registration different, and needs to be all period or stock? I mean, can you just register it and ride it, or is there a special discount being a 'classic bike'? Here, we have 'Historic' plates, and registration, which we pay for once, and never pay again, but there are restrictions on where and when you can ride it... like to bike shows, classic events, charities, etc. but not a daily driver.

Sorry Yamahawk missed your last post
I believe that to matriculate a vehicle in Spain it has to be standard.
But there may be ways. 😄
My bike has no paperwork as I got it from a scrapyard in Saudi Arabia (3 bikes actually)
I haven’t started to assemble it yet as still working away from home
