Topic: Anyone got a weight on PM Mitchell spun wheels ?

 I know Frank,  Bill and Meydos , have these
Some have cutouts, some dont.
 Anyone weigh them and compare to other wheels?
 I know the race versions were thinner and more fragile.
 I just picked up a solid  5.5 x 18 inch.

I don't have a set of solid wheels but may have the chicanes laying around with no tire mounted. I'll try to get you a weight this week

Do you feel they may be lighter than what you ran before that ?
Nitro Hunter has a set on his turbo bike when I met him in the 80,s.
He thinks he may have the original paperwork from when he got them, they were blue anodized.

Found a text i sent to a member. Front/axle  is 7lbs.

Rear is 9lbs includes bearins and adapters.
