1972 honda 350Four

Hey all I'm from hattiesburg MS. I just got my hands on a 1972 honda 350 Four. The electrical start wasnt working and the kick start shaft was broken on the inside of the crank case and JB welded shut. I bought a new shaft and kick bar and she fired right up. Shes not firing on all 4 cylinders. I started taking the carbs apart today. On of the bowl springs is broke ( other piece wasnt in the bowl) and the rubber seal is missing on the main jet set... so far. Still have a while to go getting these carbs apart and rebuilding them. Any advice and help is welcome!!!

Thanks for posting the pictures.  The spring holds a jet in place.

Awesome thanks MD. Do I need I need a new spring? The spring I posted is the only one I can find.  I've been told when rebuilding carbs just replace the rubbers and keep old jets.

She's a little rough looking but sounds like she's in good hands now.  The 350F is a fun bike.

Yes, you will need a new spring.  You don't want a jet dropping into the bowl.

Wondering what battery is in the bike?  Sticks out in the pic because it’s sitting on its side.

Interested to see your transformation.

These are fun bikes.  I’ve never had any real issues with mine.

This is the battery. It came with the bike.  If anyone know where I can get a nice R side cover it would greatly appreciate it... the one I hear is broke pretty good.

Ok so I'm taking these carbs apart slowly and taking pictures as I go. Has anyone else on here stripped down the carbs before. I have some pieces that are broke that I cant find on Ebay. And a piece I know where it came from but the other 2 throttle valves didn't have it.

So this is the piece that is missing on 3 out of the 4 arm set links.
