!978 CB 550 Front Brakes

Hi Everyone

I changed my front brakes last season with a new stainless steel Rotor and complete Caliper Kit.
They were working great till about a month ago when they started squeaking when using them. I was wondering if this was common with the front braking system or is there something I can do to stop the intermittent squeaking?

Spray some brake cleaner on them if they’ve been sitting for a bit. If you know they’re new pads they’re just dirty and making noise usually

I had the same problem, when I got my 550 it had new front brake system, rotor, caliper, hoses, m/cylinder... after few months started squeaking, ...Pulled the pads and put anti squeak paste on the back of the pads,  problem solved

I googled "anti squeak paste" only thing that came up was motorcycle anti-squeal paste.
Is that what you meant?
