Yes, got it from MoMo.

Plan is to get it on the road and see how does she feel. If I like her, I will keep her.

Was mine for a short time period. Did some work on it for a customer, but cost of repair to him would have been more than the 10 speed was worth so he gave me the bike with a PA title. I sold it to Prokop for what I had into it, labor was a loss(I am good at that scenario)… Larry

The sight window on MC was broken, I found replacement on ebay. According to the seller, the window is 18mm and the opening on the MC I measured at 18mm, too. However, the ebay listing said it is not compatible with Honda CB900C.

The price was two dollars and change shipped, so I took my chances. I cleaned and lubricated the opening with brake fluid, installed the o-ring and gently pressed the window in. It worked, and it does not leak now.

Yeah, I will test it after i bleed brakes. You are right, there is not much pressure inside the MC.

I might end up doing just that, make it a dedicated rig.

That's a really good idea. I would think the dual range transmission would be nice to have on a sidecar rig.

I replaced carb to airbox boots, freed the brake pedal - steel in aluminum, just brilliant

- and went over front brakes lubing and cleaning.

Time to find an exhaust.

I just put one on my 750F1 and it isn't loud. It isn't quiet like the OEM muffer, but no louder than my Kerker was before the baffle blew out.

I always wanted one. I got one cheap and wasn't as impressed. Nothing wrong with the bike, besides the condition of this particular one. I put a V&H header on it and got it running pretty good, then the buyer didn't want the header so I put the cut off stock pipes back on. It ran awful like that, he took it anyway.
The header went on my drag bike and that was the profit on that deal.

I took her up and down the road, the petcock leaks and carbs need to be adjusted. It seems to be running very hot - at least compare to 750.

I took apart the petcock, drilled and tapped holes for little bolts. Why oh why did Honda make it unserviceable?

Anyway, it does not leak anymore.

Although Honda built their bikes for longevity, they really didnt want us to keep them for 10, 20 or 50[!] years and not buy a new one.

Delkevic exhaust installed.

Turns out #4 spark plug was bad; that and idle adjustment and she is purring like a happy kitten. I took out the bulb that keeps reminding me air pressure in rear shocks is low - because she has progressive shocks instead of air shocks.

She is so different from 750K, I have to really fold my 6'2" to sit down.

I will put on her the touring windshield from Dorothy, and replace the tank lock. Somebody unlocked it with screwdriver.
