I realized that the first gear does not jump out anymore. It would routinelly happen at stop signs and such. I guess it fixed itself, putting miles on Honda is the best cure.

With clutch in to shift the transmission you just move the other shifter, too. Or you can keep transmission in gear, clutch in and switch high to low or vice versa. I think you need one .
