wondering if there is a difference in pipe fittings in early honda's to late models, would a set of pipes from early 70's fit a cb k7,the early had finned clamps and the later big plates bolted on to clamp the pipes

Some headers needed the early exhaust spigots to slip over on and other styles do not use the spigot. So basically you need whatever parts the style of header dictates.

I believe the late frames are a bit longer, I'm not sure if the muffler mount is different, I've seen late and early pipes swapped but not sure about the hanger bolt.

ahh mine dousnt have spigots like the early jobs,guess got to look for the right pipes,thanks for that,appreciated
