Are you referring to the electrical junction box off a CB750F/F1 that is in your right hand?

Ya. Standard thing? It's gawdy and I figured I could do without it. It ran to the started switch or kill switch deal?

It is where the wires from your bars connect to the wiring harness. Next to the horn but on the left side down below the steering neck. There is a "tab" that juts out forward that it attaches to.

Gotcha. So that big mess of hanging wires all goes there. Another F quark!

As I understand it, the "F" headlight bucket is smaller than the "K", so Honda added that electrical junction box to make up the connections.

If you have an F0 or F1 with the standard headlight/turn signal bracket thing you can't fit a K model headlight shell (I checked). Without that box in the photo the wires will just dangle in front of the engine.

Your signature says you have a K bike. Did you recently acquire an early F also?

Here's mine right after I reconnected all the wiring.

That's really helpful! It had obviously been heavily modified.

I wonder if someone had access to an F model harness and swapped that in. The way the wires are set up in the F harness switching to a K setup with all the wires in the headlight bucket would be a pain.

Do you have the K2 style 4 warning lights between the bar clamps or an F/K7-K8 5 light dash between the gauges?

Replacement harnesses are surprisingly affordable. If you have the K2 warning light setup then I would find a replacement front harness for that, if you have the F later K style then I would look for a K7/8 harness that will work with your dash but hide the connections in the headlight bucket rather than the frame box.

Nevermind, I found your post in the project section, you picked up a '75 F0.
