I got 29's and 33's RS like brand new = worked well on my KZ's .

I have photos in my computer home about the cable installation on the TMR’s.  I’m in Spain now close to Benidorm, so no garage nor riding. Sunshine, sea and beers are OK too.
I know that I had to add an extra nut I made a cut in by a saw blade for the wire to use the nut as adjuster or lock nut. Nut is open so not tight too hard, lock with Loctite. One cable is a little bit long, front adjuster at the switch/ throttle is in outest position. Maybe I can adjust at the carbs a little bit more.

Jetting sorted out since then
Pilots 30
Fuel screws 1 1/2 turns out (stable idle and less need of choke)
Needles 2:6
Mains 135 (more open pipes 137.5)

I have got the carbs (Mikuni TMR32) to work better last week! No more minor stumble and occasional sneezing carbs at low lifts.
Increased pilot jet 1 size. 
(I cheaped out ordering EBC jets. They worked fine though. There is a risk that they are different than Mikuni (despite same size stamp) that I have heard flow tests their jets)

Fuel screws 1 1/2  (Or just a little less)
Needles 2:6
Mains 135 (137.5 with Hindle 4-2-1 exhaust)

Fuel: Shell V-Power
Engine runs smoother with Denso X24ES-U than NGK D8EA.

Update:
Pilots 32.5 way too lean with Hindle 4-2-1. Might have been the problem earlier too

Tested to run rather well.
Pilots 40
Fuel screws 1 1/2  (can be a little bit richer too, max 1 3/4, need ev more fine tuning in 1/8 increments)
Needles 2:6
Mains 140 with Hindle 4-2-1 exhaust)
