Crankcase oil collar o-ring
« on: August 17, 2018, 02:07:48 PM »
So I'm looking at parts 3 and 15 here:

Mine has the collar and what looks like a kind of metal double wall ring thing around it. Do I need the rubber o-ring as well, or is the metal thing good enough?

I've only ever seen an o ring there. Any chance of a photo of the metal ring thing?

Welp... on closer inspection, it was a badly worn o-ring and some crusty oil that made it look like a metal thing at a quick glance. Turns out it is a rubber o-ring.  :-[
