I recently purchased a set of repro side covers from Frankenstuff for my 750K7. The price I thought was very reasonable, as was the shipping to Australia.

The first thing that struck me when they arrived was just how good the finish was. These things are very well made. The outside surface is identical to the genuine Honda item.

The inside of the cover is a little different obviously because they're hand made, however the fit was absolutely perfect.

Once painted and fitted I would defy anyone to pick them from original. I put up with cracked originals for ages because I was concerned that repro covers wouldn't look as good as the genuine.

I need not have worried - these are a great product.

+1000!...if you gotta repaint, these are the way to go...way sturdier than even a nos original

I know they don't have 750 covers, but I got a set of 400F side covers from David Silver Spares and they are excellent. Perfect fit and the solid black plastic is very smooth and shiny on the outside surface. I doubt they will be as wear resistant as the original's black paint but the old covers are very brittle now and have cracked a few times. I also got new grommets, I doubt if the old hardened ones would have come out and into the new covers without breaking (them and/or the brittle covers). Don't really miss the 400F decals.

I have a set of his covers and I agree they are perfect. Now, if I can find someone to paint them I would be very happy.
