K7 750 stock mufflers
« on: August 18, 2018, 03:37:15 PM »
Based on my friend questions, just wonder if my stock mufflers are 100% original or PO drilled them - there are quite some holes, irregularly positioned, so looks like drilled?

Sound is good, just curious to know

No, these were how I purchased my 78 cb550k which has the same style seamless as the K7 & K8 750.

The PO had cut the ends out......sounded terrible!

This is how they look now...

If it were me, I would fill those holes with JB Weld and paint them flat black.

I would make them quieter though

Thanks for the tip, I'll check that. they are in UK too, so maybe it could be cheaper if ordered via UK shop
