Cafe Brimstone Build Thread
« on: August 20, 2018, 07:03:58 AM »
Hey folks,
Thought I would officially start the build thread, even though no "building" has technically been done.
Ideally, having responsibility to something/someone, even if it is an anonymous online community, will prevent me from dragging this project out.

I have spent the last couple months researching and ordering parts as well as creating a workspace for the project.
Here's what's in the way of working on the Honda right now:

I just have to rebuild a couple of trannys and then two of these cars will be out of here and I can start on the bike.

Should be ready to tear into this guy next week:

This is my first Honda project, and in mentally going through the build, I still have a few outstanding questions -
I will be reaching out to the community in separate threads, so thanks in advance!

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

Welcome.  Since you have a couple of car projects, one would assume that you are mechanically inclined.  What are you goals with the Honda.  Is it running?

Looks like a Corvair, 55 chevy and late 50, early 60 ford pickup.

Good projects.

Wish I had a corvair, loved those things, growing up.

A Corvair Monza has long been on my list of cars I would like to own.

Yep, the Monza is the one.

My brother had one when we were growing up. I think it was a 65 and yellow. Course, being a young teenager, he flipped it.
