CB750K1 Exhaust Id Help.
« on: August 27, 2018, 06:37:07 PM »
Hello all, I have recently acquired a 71' CB750. In doing all the general maintenance and tuning the bike appears mostly stock. The exhaust however is not. I was wondering if anyone could identify this exhaust and secondly should there be any difference in tuning the bike (Jetting, Idle air adjustments, etc.) to maximize performance for a 4 into 2 style exhaust. It is running solid with only some slight occasional back pressure pops at Idle and decel, I am not sure if this is normal. Thanks in advance for any insight.

I have been an avid lurker and user of the search function and this is my first post, so I would like to say an official "Hello" and thanks for the great source of information everyone provides. The forum along with my Honda manual have been an essential part of getting my bike running and back on the road. Big Thanks to all!!!!

Cocktail shaker muffler. Jardine made some that fit the original head pipes but they were a little different.
