Thnx guys for the answers,
I got the original master cylinder with it (the round one).
Anyways are those improvements original?
I wanted to make it original again underneath the blue tank there there's black paint so i guess the color was black.
I thought the seat was original? It has some wear but lucky not cracked anywhere.
The honda is alrdy standing in that corner for about 10 years so,
The license plate is from 1979 but the framenumbers tells me this one is frome 1977.
I want to get it in major components original, the improvements i like.
Maybe the pattern on the European bikes was different than the US bikes.
Your bike would not have originally come with that exhaust system, it would have had 4 individual mufflers like the bike in my photo. The paint scheme would have been similar, just black vs brown. If you look at the side covers on my '77 you will see that they are slightly different.
Personally, I would
1. Give it a good wash and shine the chrome (that's what I did in my photo, that was the weekend after I bought my bike and it had been sitting in storage for 20+ years)
2. Inspect the inside of the fuel tank for rust. Clean as necessary
3. Replace the fuel lines and battery.
4. Pull the carbs and give them a good cleaning, which requires taking them off the bike, but doesn't require you to take them off the rack they are attached to. Inspect all the jets to make sure they are original and confirm the size (see the image below, which is an actual Keihin main jet) and make sure they are clean an unobstructed, and replace all the gaskets and O-rings.
5. Check your gaps: points, plugs, valves
6. Change the oil and filter
7. See if it will start.
Completing all of the above won't cost a lot of money and can be done over 2-3 weekends of work. Once you know it runs you can work up a plan of attack for the rest.
Based on your photo, I would just repaint, replace the tires and rubber brake hoses, and install a better looking muffler and ride it. I would probably replace the handle bar too as I am not a fan of drag bars, but that's just me.
