1973 350 Four for sale and electrical question
« on: January 15, 2007, 08:33:02 AM »
First, please see my for sale notice under "Bikes for Sale".

When in Florida last week, I got this bike running again. However, before I really had time to sort out a potential charging problem, I had to return to NJ.

When in Florida, I found an "orphan" green wire with a female spade connector on it under the left side cover (turn signal relay, voltage regulator side of bike). An online wiring diagram notes green as ground. I couldn't find where this wire should be connected. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The bike if for sale for anyone who is interested -- it is in Ft. Myers, Florida. I am hoping to sort out this problem so I can offer a running bike with no material issues. Just trying to recoup some of my investment.

Thanks,

Clifton in NJ

I don't know anything about that particular bike; but we discovered and confirmed that the 750K has such a wire near the coils as a spare.  Same up in the headlight bucket.  Might be a Honda thing on all the Fours?

Its for the ground on a three pin blinker relay used in other countries
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
