« on: September 01, 2018, 10:53:39 AM »
Those of you with homebuilt motorcycle tables how wide amd how long did you make it?
I was wondering as i just build a short table 14in height for my ex brother in law.
I built it from scraps from my wood pile.
Going to be building one for myself soon so was wondering what everyone else ls set up is like.

I made mine in two 25x48 sections 17 inches high.  Easy to store by stacking when not in use.  Also can use one for lawn mower etc. repairs.  I use a long bolt to hold the sections together.

Yellow i like that set up. Do you just have a hole drilled that you run a bolt through or a latch?

Just a long bolt through a drilled hole.

I built mine from this page:
http://dropbarscinder.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2011-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&updated-max=2011-03-03T10:35:00-08:00&max-results=20&start=12&by-date=false&m=0

Two sheets of 3/4 plywood and only 4 cuts, lots of screws and glue but its amazingly solid.

24" high plus 4" for casters. I'd make it closer to 20" if I had it to do over.
