Oversized Stainless Steel Valves by ABUSO Racing
« on: September 03, 2018, 08:56:37 am »
Hi   ;)

I represent ABUSO Racing and we are a new company focusing on the production of valvetrain components for various classic bikes. I would just like to share with all CB owners what we currently offer.

All our valves are made of EV8 Stainless steel (21-4N) material commonly used in most high performance valves. These are stronger and more heat resistant than stock. They are also nitrided for longevity and great wear characteristics.

We offer intake and exhaust valves for the CB engines. These valves are 34,0 (+2,0mm) and 29,5 (+1,5mm) in order to work with the stock seat and are a great way to improve cylinder head breathing for your modified or big bore engines.

Our valves are affordable unlike most other suppliers and they will be perfect for almost everyone from tuff street engines to full on racing engines.

Hi Paulo,

Welcome and thanks for contributing to our madness.

Standard 6.5mm stems or the upgraded 5mm stems?
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Interesting. My K6 head got F2 34mm inlet valves back in the early 80's. They were shorter and mushroomed very quick. It ate 2 sets, 3:rd set got lash caps. Head upgraded with 5mm valve kit to sort it.

If I have seen this for a few years ago, the head had got these 34mm in valves, no need of new guides and labor .....$$$

Just placed an order for both inlet and exhaust OS valves!
Great, now I can upgrade my F1 head and I can remove my turbo kit and F2 head (low compression and big valves) and just keep the same pistons.  8)

I’m curious, wouldn’t 34mm intakes and 29.5mm exhaust valves cause valve to valve issues with higher lift cams in k heads?

I think its not a problem as long as the lobe-centers are below 105............and duration is not extreme........and the head/deck planes are close to OEM.... ;)

I bought a set of abuso valves a few weeks ago and I can vouch for the very high price/quality ratio. Very nicely done, weighing just 3 grams more per valve compared to EOM. All of this at basically the same price of a set of original valves. Can't wait to see how they perform on the track!
