Sprocket shaft goodies.
« on: September 03, 2018, 08:00:33 PM »
So opened up my sprocket cover and got a fairly rusty sprocket (try to clean.)

The shaft has what appears to be surface rust, and the seal has a couple dings. What needs to be replace In your expert opinion?

I’d clean up the sprocket and leave the shaft as is. I’d also clean up the engine behind the cover. Sprocket doesn’t look worn so I wouldn’t replace it.
