Carrillo's Old vs New
« on: October 16, 2018, 07:36:53 PM »
Hello, I'm doing a trade with Eli, B40 Rajay and adapter for my HRS42 in trade for a set of Carrillos.  My question is the set on the bottom early ones? I thought Mike Rieck said so but can't remember now. Anyone? Thanks,  Mike nice numbers on the dyno,  I think the 125/70 you'll like better. Bill

Yes , they are. Thanks,  its the bottom set I'm wondering about was in the nice bike from Ted's brother. Sweet build out of California.

Don't think they are. Pretty sure the newer ones have a tapered H-beam like your picture and I think that's a fairly recent change.
A new set I bought 3 years ago, for a CB1100, had straight H-beams.

The bottom set are I-beams. Not sure if they still make them, but I seem to recall they use to offer H-beams and I-beams.

Mikey's comment made me blow that picture up for a closer look. Don't know what they are but Carrillos did not have that radiused face.
