DSS Honda Motorcycle Museum (UK)
« on: September 05, 2018, 10:08:08 AM »
Just came back from a visit to the UK where I visited the Dave Silver Honda Motorcycle Collection in Leiston in Suffolk. This is definitely worth a visit. The museum itself is located about 90 miles north east of London and whilst not the easiest place to get to, there are plenty of other attractions in the area. The Honda collection is well laid out in chronological order and has about a 150 Hondas to ogle. Of most interesting to me was, of course, the SOHC 4s which included some immaculate 750s, 350s, 500s, 550s and 3 CB400Fs which I believe are the most popular Japanese motorcycle to restore in the UK. The spares warehouse is at the same site.

Was the Turbo a CX650TC or CX500TC?  Nice collection.  Owner loves the 400s I am told.

The example at the collection was a CX650 Turbo. See image. I'd love a ride on one of these. I'm not sure if they made it to Canada although you see CX500s come up for sale from time to time.
