76 750f carb air vent question
« on: September 08, 2018, 07:51:54 AM »
i see some different configurations on the 2 air vent ports in between carb 2 and 3 . Some pics i see have a small piece of tubing connecting the 2 ports and other pics show them individually venting to atmosphere.  I will more than likely do the latter with small filters ( like the ones on the stems from a spray bottle )  .  My question is that if someone closes the circuit with the former method would not that interfere with the purpose of the venting and possibly cause a lean condition ?  Attached are  photos i pulled off the internet of that " closed loop " setup and another pic of 2 long individual lines going to atmosphere.
