NAACP=National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
AARP=whiney people who defend "the downtrodden" (unless they are white men being discriminated against)

not sure what it stands for though

Isn't it strange how the "African-American" people don't like to be referred to as "colored", yet look at the name of their main association.  :-\

yes it was definately another group then  THE ACLU  not the AARP my bad

ACLU-American Civil Liberties Union

of course a lot of old people are racist so it kinda fits

i was wondering that too steve f

back in the day they didnt like being called black or NIg*er, but they call themselves these all the time

if you or your father didnt come directly from Africa then you arent an "african AMERICAN" you are just an american,

just my POV
