What is a Japan domestic model CB750?

I saw this on eDay this weekend ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-Honda-CB/132768033981 )and I'm considering bidding on it since it's right in my backyard. 

What is a Japan domestic model CB750 and how rare are they?  I mean I know what a sandcast is but I've never heard of a Japan model CB750.  Does anybody have one?

Mostly hype. While Japanese market bikes might be somewhat rare in the US, comparing this to a sandcast is hyperbole. It's also in rough and non-original shape. It'd make a good rider but I doubt it will fetch that much -- but since it's open bidding, we'll see I guess. I bought a running Japanese market 350F years ago for $350.

And then there's the whole "more unique" phrase...

What the hell is wrong with that seat?

At least the seller doesn't appear to believe that "rarer than a sandcast" also = worth as much money as...

Not sure if it's more valuable. There are a LOT of "foreign" SOHC4 bikes that were imported back to Japan... wonder if they get a higher price than "Domestic"?
The Japan models will have specific lighting, a headlight designed for left side of the road driving in particular. Maybe they have the "parking light" in the headlight that US models did not have (because those headlights were not DOT approved). They would have had the speed sensor light, indicating "too fast!"... all Japan vehicles capable of going above legal highway speed had to have a speed warning system, maybe still do.

Rotten exhaust pipes that need to be replaced. Reminds me about pipes I have seen here marked with CB750. No HM300 nor HM341. Seems to be rather open.

  If you notice Jap domestic bikes do not have foot pegs that fold up along with other unique differences. Be something different you don't see around here often.

I didn’t think a K1had HM341’s.
Pretty rough bike.
To make it nice would require a lot of $$.
The seat looks funny, bent pan?
