I tapped on the line and zip tied it overnight. Once I’m done, I just pump the lever? I did that and it felt relatively the same. Should I bleed after having tied the lever?

No, you should not need to bleed again. The point of the lever trick is that air will naturally rise up through the line and exit into the reservoir.

Is your lind near the mc m higher than MC  entry point, ... that would definitely hold air.

Be careful, you maybe can squeeze the lever to the bars, but while riding the salto mortale could be only a half squeeze away, and i think that was what Frank meant too....

The line near the MC entry hole is not above it, but on the radial MC there is a line from the reservoir to the lever/piston area and I believe that line does go above the MC entry point. I’ll attach a picture.
