Topic: CB650 Caliper Question

Hi all,

I have done some searching and still have a question.  Does the dual piston caliper from a 82 Standard bolt right on to a 80?  Some say yes, but with the 82 rotor.  Can anyone confirm if the 82 caliper will work on a 80 with a 80 rotor?

Hey Jamie, I can't confirm the '82 dual piston caliper Standard will bolt right on to an '80, but the rotor is probably not an issue. The '82 650 SC had a funky anti-dive mechanism built into the left brake/fork leg, with a correspondingly funky left caliper mounting bracket.
