+1 (or more) on the POR15. Best stuff I've ever used for the tanks, and I keep some on hand.
Need a well-used Transistor Ignition for it (to preserve the 'used' flavor)? PM me for details.

Everything is loose. Thrown together. I painted the wheels….both tires are trash, but I didn’t have the money for tires so….progress. A little every night.

Would you like a tail-box and seat cowl for that bike? (You can have them for postage)

Oops, my picture was too big, it only took the second one.   They need paint, but there are no cracks, just scratches.

base coat clear is on tank. Going to be nutty. When I started cleaning the tank it became clear just how awful it was. I had it kicking around just stripped for so long I grew to really prefer it over a stock or custom color.

I am going to paint the original decal style on the sides.

That groovy shift cover made me smile. Good luck on the gas tank. I have one with a wad of gas tank epoxy on it. I de-rusted a little too good.

Finishing up my tank. I was going for a low rider vibe. More sanding, more clear coat needed.
