I am
I sandblasted the outside, then used a chopped fiberglass and JBWeld mix to fill the holes. Going to do a water test and if the holes are all filled, then I sandblast the inside and roll it around with some nuts and bolts, rinse. I am going to use electrolysis to clean the remaining rust from inside. Epoxy came as a kit with a degreaser and metal etch before applying epoxy.

It is a POR15 kit. I have used the epoxy on other tanks is as bad if not worse condition. Works great. Would never use anything else.

This tank was trash and is an extreme case, but it was the tank I wanted and had. Good luck.

+1 (or more) on the POR15. Best stuff I've ever used for the tanks, and I keep some on hand.
Need a well-used Transistor Ignition for it (to preserve the 'used' flavor)? PM me for details.

Everything is loose. Thrown together. I painted the wheels….both tires are trash, but I didn’t have the money for tires so….progress. A little every night.

Would you like a tail-box and seat cowl for that bike? (You can have them for postage)

Oops, my picture was too big, it only took the second one.   They need paint, but there are no cracks, just scratches.
