Foot peg extension reversal
« on: September 19, 2018, 08:49:55 AM »
Fair warning, I'm new to bikes and just bought a cb350f.

The foot pegs were extended back, and I want to move them back to the standard position. Based on my pictures, what would I need to do that? I'm assuming I'd just need shorter levers on both sides?

You will need all of the original foot peg parts for both sides. Rear sets replace the stock pieces. You need pegs, brake lever and all the associate parts to get back to stock.
All you gotta do is do what you gotta do.

I have some and I'd do that trade and throw in rear pegs and shifter as well, if you are interested. Don't think I have a brake lever though...

Those are rearsets. A nice upgrade. If you don't want them, I'd consider buying them.

Actually looking more closely, I don't  think they'd fit my 400. If you do sell them do some research. Rearsets are expensive.

Look at where they mounted them! That is the stock rear foot peg mounts. Talk about killing your back and neck. They would be useable if they were mounted on a plate that would bring them down about an inch or inch and one half And forward about 2-3 inches.

Or are you returning it to stock?

I use the rear pegs on my 550 and 750 for my feet all the time, but then I am tall.
