like Adolf, but a couple years newer. cool.

   you had an Oreo Mercedes!
mine was a '71 280S automatic

I'd like to get a convertible of the same year, but they're never on sale...

'68 280S auto

convertible on sale. lmao.

worked on one about 20 years ago.... was told to be real careful with dude's $90,000 Benz.

nice, but Adolf was a one-owner car then at $1500

yeah.  The 650 is way too big, heavy, and oxy for me to try to use clubmans on... I can juuust flatfoot it, and even then really need the bars for leverage to push/pull the bugger around.  It figures, it's 4x my weight.

The 350, at only 3x my weight seems much narrower, nimbler, and easier to maneuver... so that's why I'm thinking maybe I can go clubmans. Oh, not to mention that the tank is way, way shorter than the 650's so the reach won't be nearly as bad.

If you think I'm exaggerating, I weigh about 110, the 350's wet weight is supposedly 348, and the 650's is supposedly 480something.

Its not listed as a side effect, however I suppose given what it does that could be one off the effects...

prednisone can be quite nasty and it made my skin play up like #$%* and also gave me headaches, i had to take it for nearly 2 years when i first had my transplant. It is naturally produced by the body and if taken over a period of time you should have the dose gradually reduced as the body stops making it naturally and you can become quite ill, in extreme cases you can even die......I hated the stuff even though it was helping me at the time.....i no longer need to take it..

mmkay, so I'm looking to maybe put clubman bars on my 350 just to see what the big deal is all about and why people like them so much.  Is there some unwritten law somewhere saying that you *have* to use rearsets with clubmans, or is that just for tall people (er, people over 5'4") who would probably not be comfortable bent that way?

I don't have rearsets on mine with clubmans and I think it works just fine.
I might eventually go to rearsets but I have other things I need to do first.

I'm the same way, I wish I had them but they're not the first on my list.
they're such a small simple piece and for some reason they're 300-400 bucks.
'and I don't wast the 100 dollar universal ones, they'll look like you bought cheap universal rear sets.
...cause you did.
I'll probably use some CBR rear sets or something.

There is such a thing as better clubmans out there (if there is such a thing  ::)). If I remember right the M Clubmans were better than the $25 set and there were some british made ones that were better also.

Problem with most clubmans is they are not adjustable- I like my Raask Jotas but I eventually need to find a way to get the dials up and out of the way so I can bring the grips in more- then they shall be very sweet instead of slightly sweet.

Theres always the make your own rearsets option.  These are mine,  Cost less than $100

as components

brake side

they are really sturdy.  Held up EXTREMELY well when whatever dumbass knocked my bike over twice on the same side.  It was resting on the rearsets and bars, and the mounting bracket is only slightly tweaked and there's a scuff on the footpeg.
