I like to go to U-Pull-It junk yards and get mids and highs. They're like 5 bucks a piece and you can find good speakers in there. I got a lot of Boston Acoustic 5.25's 6.5's and 4x6's to replace peoples factory crap. that name must've been popular back then, cause they were in just about every car...

I'd charge 50 bucks a set installed

it's a Kicker 100x2(rms) , bridged (tiny i know, but i'm only pushing one 10")

the speaker is 200w(rms) and 1000 max (non-ported box)
for what it is ... it sounds really impressive

and my bro might have some 6x9s for ya mike , i'll ask him

that's a pretty good match, I'm guessing the peak on that amp should be around 800w max at 2 ohms.
and the sealed enclosure will give you a tighter bump than a ported or bandpass one.
I use L brackets to mount my boxes to the car, I flip them on the inside (under the box) and mark them, then screw em down and slide the box in and screw it into the bracket.
your box won't roll around when you drive.

unless you did that already.

I know I did damage when I worked house security at a Metallica concert without earplugs.

Couldn't hear right for three days after that.
