True, OK, for OH&S reasons, we'll fit tennis balls to the ends of the jousting sticks........... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

The picture I'm seeing is guys on riding mowers with rakes as jousting sticks(with the safety tennis balls on the end of the rake handles).

I'm serious, someone will lose an eye!  Didn't your Mom warn you about this sort of horseplay?

Sounds like a great way to get on AFV tv show.

And now an AADD moment.

I saw an Amtrak train today and it had a sign in the side that read "No Humping"  what was that all about.  It is on a lot of the cars.  The way I am I started thinking maybe people out there are humping trains.  Would that hurt anyone?  Would that hurt?
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

"Humping" is a freight train method of taking a train of cars that are all going different directions, and putting all the ones going the same way together.  It's done at a specially built switch yard at the top of a gentle hill.  The cars are slowly pushed to the crest of the hill (hump)where a guy unhooks each car.  The cars then roll down the other side of the hill where more guys are working the switches to put the train together in the way they need to be to continue their trip.  They do tend to bang together, so passenger cars aren't heavy enough to take that kind of punishment.   I guess passenger cars need to be rearainged from time to time, but hump yards are a dieing breed.

As a railfan, I used to sit at a pizza place across the street Potomac Yard and watch them humping freight cars.  It's a damn shame they tore up that yard to build a shopping center.

You'd think sex was involved with all this humping and banging.

Thanks for the info, It was the Auto Train. ( which by the way is another fine example of how a private enterprize get royaly buggered when goverment steps in.  The auto train is a non-stop Washington DC to Orlando run.  It never has expanded and has a hard time selling enough tickets to run.  Has never turned a profit in 25 years.   I was banging on the train my wife was humping.

If you're talking about expanding northward, it has nothing to do with the government, and everything to do with height.  Where it goes underground under the Capitol(as well as other buildings) there isn't enough room, and any construction(say maybe to go deeper) would shut down the Eastern lines.  Those nice double-decker passenger cars are also too tall.

And now back to our regularly scheduled shamelessness.

Booger!
