there you go being the voice or reason.  It doesn't sound so alarmist when you put it in perspective.  We have had a 7% sales tax here for years but it does not include food or clothing.

here in the states dennis we pay a federal income tax of somewhere around 21 or 22%   ... then each state can tack on their own tax on top of that ... my state is now 7%  ... doesn't sound like much... but it's over twice what it was   ...meh, whatever
