Some piece of squat stole my gas grill off of my back porch while I was out Friday night >:( It was 5deg. with 4 or 5 inches of snow on everything. I have always been leery of all the strangers knocking on my door wanting to know if I wanted the drive shoveled, now I'm confidant at least one of them was scoping out the house.

might be worth installing a cam over looking the driveway or even a couple of fake ones to keep people gussing! I am likely going to do it in the spring and I live in a pretty good area! I figure my pc is in my bedroom which is at the front of the house overlooking the drive so would be supereasy to install and cable. Might get a smaller stand alone unit for the garage that has motion capture...not sure yet.

I'm thinking of putting up a few cams and a couple of motion sensitive security flood lights.

They knew enough to roll it up the neighbors drive to the street and loose the trail there. I thought I might find where they rolled it back off the street, but there where so many grocery cart tracks it was hopeless. They may have thrown it in the back of a truck too.
I called in a report, but an investigator won't be in touch with me until next week.

my shop got broken into twice several years ago, after second time I electrified the area where they were breaking in with unprotected 220V.

on rain days, when I would work on equipment in the shop, a couple cops started stopping buy and hanging out for a few...

long story short cop, noticed the trap and I nearly went to jail, good thing I never told him what the barrel with the removable lid and 40 gal of acid was for  ;D

I used the grill year around. The next one will be chained up.

I told the lady who took my report over the phone, that with all the people that can't pay the heat bill, they may have put it in a garage for heat, so if they get any reports of carbon monoxide poisoning in they area it may be a hint.

I wouldn't mind if some thieving piece of #$%* got sick from steeling my grill.

For two teams contending for a Superbowl seat, neither the Bears nor the Packers acted like it.  The Bears just acted like it a little less.  Seriously?  It's like they all had better things to be doing than playing championship football.

The only football I watch is the LFL. My blood is red, the flag in front of my house has stars and stripes and i am married to a woman.
