I mean it. I'm still not here.

I'd take your word for it, but that would require acknowledging your existence, which would cause the universe to collapse in on itself, so I can't.

It's this, or work.
I'm sticking with this...

My sentiments entirely. The job would be perfect if it wasn't for those pesky examinees showing up every hour.

I'd wish you best of luck for a good cause, firecracker; however, to do that, I'd have to admit that I am here, which I am not.

Running a marathon on Sunday www.okcmarathon.com.  First (probably last) one.    :-\

Good luck with that. If you've done the preparation, and don't start out too fast, you should be ok. Drink lots. I used to do the same insanity when I was a younger (and fitter) fellow.

Here's a question for all you Star Trek fans. Is the vocal on side two of Mike Oldfields 'Tubular Bells' ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tubular_Bells) the first recording of a Klingon singing?

We've got Star Trek fans here? OH MY GOD......................  :P
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

No. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piltdown_Man

Ah, but Piltdown Man was a hoax and never existed. As we all know the Klingons are out there somewhere in the Alpha Quadrant, therefore I think that the recording is more likely to be Klingon (whatever anyone says).  ;)

It was like having a surprise visit from an old friend.

Yup. It's been moved to Thursday night at 9:00 right after Verda the Talking Dingo and before The Most Dangerous Insurance Clerk reality series.

Yes, it's true that Piltdown Man was a hoax, but according to:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tubular_Bells

it was the inspiration for the vocals.

Your use of the Trek lingo suggests that you DO have a costume or two and have been to a convention or two.

Not guilty. I am married to a gal who is a big fan, however. The costumes pre-ordain that a person is svelte; I'm not. I am also not a fan of head-to-toe polyester. No we have never been to conventions. My favourite spoof of the whole Star Trek/Star Wars/Battlestar Galactica/Babylon 5 genre is 'Galaxy Quest'.

I agree Nick, Star Trek sucks the hairy pole, and Trekkies (and their immediate families) deserve the gas chamber.

My wife is a Star Trek fan, which is another good reason for me to dislike it, particularly since she hid my pellet gun and I am now powerless to defend myself against those hordes of nerdy zombies..........  ;D
