Well if there's anything I can do to help, let me know! serious.

Lost title is a uh... "cramp"
If you have no title, but the bike was registered to the last owner in kansas as well, no big deal, provide previous owner info and yours and 35 bucks later, VOILA.
If you live in kansas and you buy something that was registered in another state before the title was lost, put on some really high boots, cause  you're wading through some SH1T.
After you finally find a previous owner, you pay 35 bucks to get the old one, than you have to send it in again with a bill of sale signed and notarized. Then you pay something like 17 dollar processing fee, back registration (which you can say it hasn't been running or in pieces and they'll wave some of) and then you get to pay to have to pay to have the current registration and the inspection which is something under 20 bucks.
So, money isn't the huge thing, but the hoops are treacherous.

This is why my Corrado never got legal. haha :D

I'll keep that in mind if I want buy something over the line that doesn't have a title.
Sounds quite tedious.

So.
I get home from work and call LG because the gigantic million dollar must have tv is broken.
I'm all pissed cause I can't find the receipt anywhere.
My dog has been playing Houdini lately, and somehow getting off his chain, so, I don't leave him outside unattended very long.
After about 20 minutes of him being outside, he doesn't ask to come back in so, naturally, I get a bit nervous and go look for him. "Dozer"......."DOZER" so I look for his chain, and see it and follow it, and proceed to start laughing my @ss off.
My dog is a serious dumb sh1t.
Here it is through my eyes.
HEY DOG

WHERE ARE YOU?

HMMMM

WHISTLE

Hahaha, somebody likes to go for rides. :D
I checked, the scratches are just where my car is dirty.

Aw crud. I went and did it now...  ;)

I bought a Honda $OHC4 bike tonight on our way home from Eugene. Saw it on Craigslist, Kit called the guy and we headed down the highway early, ditching our friends. (bad on us) Gonna go pick it up tomorrow when I can get a Uhaul bike trailer. It seems that's the only way they move from one place to another around here.  ;) So what is it specifically you may be wondering? What else... another 1980 CB650C. I must hate myself or something after all we went through with Kit's.  :D

Of course, it needs some work but we have tons of spare, mostly almost useable parts.  ;D I guess I feel a build thread coming on.  ::)

The bike has already been named Samson by Kit. Now we have 2 problem children, fraternal twins. I think it's high time for a Blue Moon beer.

Whoop, here he is...

I gave him the once-over. the 4-into-4s look great... we'll see how they sound but it appears no one's f*cked with the baffles... Carbs need cleaned, 'new' battery needs a trickle charge but holds charge...

just have to see what's up with all the oil on the head. :/ I know.  Clean/Degrease/Foot powder!

All in all, very nice looking bike.

I was infatuated with them when they were new. I drove a syclone, as a bricklayer a felt it would not be a wise truck decision, by the time the typhoons came out I was out of the large payment mood. ;D

Dang Mick, you need to get a pick 'em up truck, even if it's a 4 banger.
That's how I get my bike around. Everyone out here in truck country makes fun of me because it's a little truck but it hauls all the stuff I need it too.
99.9% of the time I don't need more than 4 cylinders to do what I need it to.
Looks like that will make a good project.

Kit's car has been paid off for some time now and we were just discussing the fact that, even though it runs great, we never use it anymore. We are both leaning towards selling it or trading it even up for a small pickup like a Toyota or S-10 Chevy with a longer bed, if possible. But... the Subaru stays right here.  ;)
Actually, it's just $15 a day to rent a bike trailer and the 2 of us can roll any bike up there by ourselves so I wouldn't mind just getting a small bike trailer of our own at some point that would hold 2 if needed.

Out the door to wash the "new" bike.  8) Pics in the build thread to come.

I think I need a beer or 2 for this task.  ;D ;D ;D
