I come before you to ask that this thread not be forgotten. After almost 2000 posts, and 14,000 reads this thread has been very entertaining. This must be some kind of record. Even when the subject is something controversial like oil, the thread never lasts more than 6-8 pages(we are at 130).
The reason for my post? The "Bounty Hunter" thread has begun to grow its own hair. It seems to have a life of its own. It is so effin hilarious. And I will admit, I've added to it. It's so easy with all the material available. And it may surpass the entertainment value of this thread. That would be a crying shame. And isn't that what this thread is all about? It is so entertaining to see all the shamelessness. And we've had some good ones. A$$ pennies, manure filled frisbees, and all the movie quotes- great. Monty Python will never get old. And then there's the "boob" thread. I thought that it might steal the show, but then it hit me. It's a different kind of entertainment, and like Python, boobs never get old( well they do and they droop but I digress) so, no threat.
So, I ask that we all step up. Dig down deep and see how shameless we can be. I'll try and do my part. After all, how am I ever going to get to expert? I've been riding longer than some of our younger members have been alive. And all those posts to the old listserve group don't count.
