Ahhh, so true. Despite comments otherwise, she was a cutie. Now, she is the poster-horror for truly shameless vanity.

On a more interesting, yet shameless topic: Rushoid, I like your avatar. Where'd you get the picture? It doesn't look Photoshopped to my non-expert eye; however, I've never seen one of those units that go over 100 MPH. I can't tell if the sign is reading KPH, though.

Personally, every time I see one of those "Your Speed Is" signs, I see how high I can get it to go. Some of them show your speed in red numbers if you are above the limit and then flashing red if you are way above. I think my antics are shameless, especially if I am in traffic because I have to slow way down to give myself running room and then accelerate while folks behind me watch the numbers climb on the sign. Only once have I ever seen a cop who was ready to stop speeders near one of those signs. And yes, whenever I see a "keep off the grass" sign, my feet are irrepressibly drawn to the rich grass and earth.

Down here some of those speed signs have camera's that are activated by a certain speed and the driver will be pictured coming and going and a ticket  is sent to their house

dont do it in NC should you ever come through

Well, that picture was taken when i was trying out my new bionic legs. I broke the sign at 167, but I easily was doing around 200 when my sneaker blew out. That was scary. I'll never again buy the off-brand shoes. I thought briefly about using the leather from the cow I obliterated to make some custom shoes, but I've tried the new Air Austins from Nike with some success.

OK, seriously, I don't know the origins of the pic. It was sent to me a few months ago and i saved it. Sorry.

Ya know, Rush, as I recall, Steve Austin only had one bionic leg. It has always bepuzzled me as to how he could run at 60 MPH. I mean, think about puttin' yer foot down at 60 MPH and then doing that repeatedly. But then again, I may have my Bionic Man physics wrong.

klark- I think the French sign would be more funny if Jerry Lewis was next to it
