We've sodden 140 pages with just one nearly ruinous incursion into politics. Politics is shameful and belongs somewhere else, eh?. Our exalted and high leader (Barney) exhorts us to strive for another 140 pages free of political shame. Need we turn back the page to those halcyon days when the Thread of Shamelessness was young and men dreamed of beer cans that didn't need openers?

It's always good fun hijacking a totally pointless thread like this once in a while, and threatening it with extinction by introducing religion and politics.

Don't worry BS, I've had my fun, now I'll concentrate on giving pus a chance............. Ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

do you really think you are a threat to the existence of this thread? this thread willoutlive us all.  and you wanna know why? huh? of course you dont.  well ill tell you why.  because it doesnt try and make any sense. as soon as you try to b e coherant and clever and worthwhile, you start to die. and not in some heroic way but in a way that would totally piss you off. so stop trying to be imprortant and threaten things with extinction and take a good hard long important look in the mirror buddy.  because at that point youll be in your bathroom or somthing where you probably dont have a computer and cant post existance threatening posts in a "totally pointless" thread.

Fair enough KK, I'll stop posting "existence threatening" posts if you'll run the spell check over yours and check your grammar too. You were probably just on a high-handed roll, but that rebuke lost almost all credibility while I struggled to decipher your intent, that was painful! Cheers, Terry. ;D

June is the wettest month hereabouts (yes, even more precip than during the winter) but every year people get in a knot about how their bbq or wedding or big bike ride was spoiled by the fact that it rained.

Then by the end of July, when it has been bone dry for a few weeks and the temp is consistently in the 30's c every day they start complaining about the heat and dry.

Canada Day marks the start of the 'dry'........... have a good one!

wow you deciphered my intent?  id love to know what it was.  "almost all credibility"? id say all of what little was there.  maybe the timezone thing made it not so clear that i posted that at 2:30am, right before i somehow got into bed.  i really dont remember doing either.  i am usually just as devoted to good spelling and grammar as you are, terry, and am deeply sorry for all the pain i have caused you.  :P

the weather is freaking amazing here in b-more.
today.  we ride.
