Where there's a will there's a way!
Shouldn't that be 'where there's a willie there's a way'??
All right here, let's get technical. The Metro comes with a 1000cc triple or a 1300cc four cylinder. Mine is the triple. It's not burning oil and the compression is ok. Once I hit 120kph it is whimpering and asking me to please not thrash it any more. If the road was long enough and straight enough it might just max out at 130. I would assume that with the bigger 1300cc engine this would be an easy speed to reach.
Incidentally, the other nice thing about the car is that it has hydraulic valve lifters, so no valve lash inspection is needed. Just change the oil and consumables and you're good to go.
And no I do not have shares in Chev, nor am I car salesperson!!
